Women can face many issues and obstacles when it comes to the pelvic floor throughout many aspects & changes in their lives. Dr. Susan Facemire from Ohio Women’s Health PT chats with Jen from Reclaiming Intimacy about the anatomy of the female pelvic floor, common diagnoses and pain issues, and touches on some treatment and therapy options to help those struggling with pelvic floor, sexual dysfunction, or other related issues.

Endometriosis is one of the most undiagnosed, misdiagnosed conditions that women could face from the onset of puberty through menopause. Endometriosis occurs when the endometrial cells grow outside of the uterus causing pelvic and body pain, which is often extreme. Dr. Maureen O'Keefe sits with Jen from Reclaiming Intimacy to discuss how endometriosis can hinder life, the pelvic floor, and cause some sexual dysfunction issues.
