Endometriosis and the Pelvic Floor

Endometriosis is one of the most undiagnosed, misdiagnosed conditions that women could face from the onset of puberty through menopause. Endometriosis occurs when the endometrial cells grow outside of the uterus causing pelvic and body pain, which is often extreme. Dr. Maureen O’Keefe sits with Jen from Reclaiming Intimacy to discuss how endometriosis can hinder life, the pelvic floor, and cause some sexual dysfunction issues.
