The Northwest Institute on Intimacy The Institute was created to meet a need generated by a significant deficit in the training of psychotherapists, physicians and clergy. Most providers have little to no training in sexual health. Yet sexuality is core to intimacy. In addition, sex therapists have little to no training in couple’s therapy. Yet relational dynamics effect the sexual relationship. This deficit has left the public seeing ill-informed providers. |

Alray Direct Gynecology and Intimate Health Center Hajira Yasmin, M.D. FACOG, IF, NCMP, AASECT(CSC), is a Board-Certified OB-GYN with expertise in sexual medicine being an AASECT certified Sexuality Counselor and NAMS (North American Menopause Society) certified Menopause Practitioner. She specializes in treating perimenopause, menopause hormonal balance, sexual dysfunction in women, vulvovaginal disorders including vulvo-vaginal pain, skin disorders of vulva, pelvic pain and restoring physical intimacy during survivorship care after cancer and conditions like fibromyalgia, diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune disorders and any other chronic illness. Her husband, Dr. Rajesh, works as a hospitalist and treats male sexual dysfunction. |
